Ensworth Robotics Teams Qualify for State; Tigers Host Mid-TN Meet

Ensworth's Robotics Club was represented by two teams in Saturday's Middle Tennessee First Lego League Tournament Saturday. In keeping with the severe weather theme of this year's challenge, the teams adopted the names "Go With The Flow" (4th-7th graders) and "Aftershock" (5th - 7th graders). Both were invited to compete in the state tournament at TTU in Cookeville Dec. 7, and Team Aftershock captured the 1st Place award in Presentation at Saturday's event.

On the Red Gables campus were 13 teams, 101 students, 30 coaches, about 150 parents and other visitors, 25 EHS ambassadors, and 18 judges/referees. Teams competed in four areas: Robot games, Presentation, Core Values, and Robot Design and Programming.
